Hello and welcome to Smith’s Farm Turkeys. We are a family run business, producing and growing turkeys for Christmas. Andrew Freeston have been producing turkeys for over 50 years so understand what it takes to produce the perfect Christmas turkey dinner.
We pride ourselves in producing turkeys for everyone from butchers, restaurants, pubs and the general public.
Our turkeys arrive at 5 weeks old. They are then reared in a barn with the option of going out into the woodland. They are fed a balanced diet of turkey feed, nettles and have a good scratch around in the ground. The turkeys are culled at the beginning of December, hand plucked and hung up to 3 weeks before being dressed ready for the oven. By hanging the birds, it enhances the flavour and keeps the birds moist.
Our turkeys are well looked after and enjoy the freedom. We believe a happy turkey produces the best flavour for the special day.
This year we are offering contact free delivery within a 5 mile radius of Bushton, for £5 per delivery or free delivery for orders over £150. We will be delivering from 21st - 23rd December or you can pick up directly from the farm and enjoy a mince pie and minimal queuing!!!
